June 5 1/4 mi. SE Half Dome, Yosemite Natl. Park, Mariposa Co., Caly. Broke swimming along bottom of this large (75 yds wide, maximum depth about 4') shallow pond.
Depth 8" where it swam. Water temp there 2:50 P.M. (D.S.)
