Air temp. at mud surface (in sun) 20.3° C. Active large adult. Wedded into water as I grabbed for her. Previously I've noted this behavior, in runlets as well as lakes. Adult made 10 feet north of 7. In sun on wet mud on dry grasses. Clearal 12:45 p.m. 23.5° C. Air same in sun over mud. Note darker coloration this male. Apparently toads have some blending abilities. yellow to green on grasses - previously noted.
