E.L. Karlstam 1954 Bufo canorus (4) July 11 W side of Smara Pass, Twinlums Co., Colif. 1/2 mile W down Hwy 108 proved almost dry. more wildflowers but no amphibiis. The available toad breeding sites are almost all dried up in this area. I suspect that the this year toad populations are foregoing breeding at site where Joe Corn had observed adults near willows last year in vicinity of the willows last year.
