June 3 Peregray meadow, 7300 ft., Y.N.P., Maysara Cr., Calif.
arrived here 8:40 P.M. (D.S.) last evening glow at
this time. Hylya audible from far northern end of
meadow N of road. I sat in the car with windows
open. 8:50 p.m. A single tree frog started calling
30 yards N of the road. more joined in. I waited
in the car a full 15 minutes before starting a
night check of the meadow north of the road.
