Maclson 1967 Journal Plowers near aacs were near nest cup, now empty, and greatly distracted but we could not find any young. took the gear from the wessel and walked in. Collected a fasciollis and pusillius from pano in the drum area on the way. In the evening Don and I went out to cap plowers with the mist net. Found 1 jw. with the 2 aacs adults and used it to catch 1 of these. Next went to nest on P's Plot and caught the bird incubating there. Both birds were easy to catch. took 16 ssp cores from west turnova East of the road to Beach Ridge, then came in. Again a mixed flock - this time more alpia than melanotos - along N. Beach Ridge. Couldn't get close enough to collect. With tipulios down due to weather, I would like to see what they are eating. I think there is still plenty of food. Do.
