Don - after initially stating that his interests lie in the birds and : conflict with mine - reversed himself and caught on well to the tipulio and Chironomus life history and ecology study idea. We kicked some thoughts around, and I think he will at least give it a good try. I think he should concentrate on tipulios this year to avoid the taxonomic mess, and am promoting that idea just a little. Afterwards made a late run out to ponds near FAA and took 8 pond edge sod cores for berlese extraction.
