719 ft deep, at that depth-sees
rather poor flow.
Cleaned out about Dec. 1908.
at 860 found salt water
which one 3/28 ft in hole.
In small quantity, so that
hole was easily kept dry by
swabbing.
Top of Black Slate at 700
Bottom of "" " at 943 ft.
At 973 ft salt water was
struck in large quantity,
which came up to 180 ft from
top of well, and the further
drilling was abandoned.
About 35 ft after beginning
the further drilling (755 ft along
the first gravity), Well was struck.
A little more than zero was
found and some oil. Filled
up tube 400 ft from bottom.
Two more of these girts were
struck in going thru the
black slate.
