Greenwell's linnse, about 1/4 miles from Greenwells Ford orthic clay at top of sand 2 1/3 mi. thick, The beyond limestone not well ex- presd. 34 ft to top 1 sand, 6 ft in midle rock, 6 1/2 put indicated clay rock, after beyond clay. {13-15 ft not expred} 2 ft with limestone with traces of clint at from first Clinton southward. 4 ft granular grained Clinton, chiefly blue, but a portion 6 in from top is salmon tinged in places, Oithus biprost + cutthus platelites at all levels. 4 feet Halysites. End of section at Jess Rulys linnse. (32) Section to mi. beyond W. R. Greenwell's linne, where road goes down into deep valley + then up again. About 200 feet 1/4 mi. are Bates' linne. Lutes. Sand, 2 ft. clays 3 1/2 ft. beyond limest. 22ft beyond clay, purplish gray, 2 1/2 ft. beyond beyond brown clays rock, 10 m. sandstone. Which where not wetland traces of clint at top 15 mi. then redded whited rock, with 20 inela. granular Clinton blue. Madison 19 ft. Madison, 5 ft rather soft clayeyrock. Thin fossiliferous layer in the clayeyrock. About 1 mile from Greenwells fork a few hundred feet by road Bates' divorce Clinton's salmon colored, Clint m. salmon colored, 20 mi. Orthiflatelites. Madison. Columnaria layers is 55 feet below Clinton
