For Report see end of this "Chapter" July 24 Drove up on Box Spring Mt. As I went up the backbone, bird life was scarce. Shot a cotton-tail. Rode over to the spring and run into a flock of Plumed Partridge - Shot 3 in two shots. Made me feel good. Took them back to the house and spent the rest of my time making a skin, and done frustrated from it. Came down the back way via Green's Canyon. Aug 11-19 Spent in San Pedro Mts. Bear Valley Expedition. For report see pp. 2 Aug 26 Hot and sultry so I hooked up and took a drive.
