1891. Other notes. Jan. 3. Saw a flock of Wild Geese today, Feb. 3. " " " "22" "this mom flying E. by N.E. Some are down the valley has found a H. Finch nest, with eggs. 7 Went to the brook. saw a bird like W. Yel. Throat but had no black on eyes. waddled around on the twigs & finally knocked him to pieces & got a good soaking when trying to get him out of the water. 14". 14 Went over the bottoms today, caught a 378e. Saw a pair of Partridge and shot a Cale Bush thr from a flock of about 20. Mar. 2 There has been a great deal of rain lately but it's cleared up & is now nice & bright. Have seen Doves & Robins. 4 Recd. "Corrie's Key" today. Of course I have the World
