Aug 15 The River-bottonix is alive with this bird, they utter a scolding note. 1892. Mar 18 Saw one in river bottom. May 2 10/2 have been around the house for a week or more & today saw one near brook. 1893. Apr 19 Heard one, also on about 4/22. June 7 Geo found a nest in an orange tree containing eggs (set 7/2). He says that the bird was on the nest-- " 28 Found nest in our pine 22 ft up on the 26th Saw the S leave the nest several times and I left it this A.M. June 29- Nest
