"Other Notes" (continued from pp.98.) Dec.15. Spent a few hours at Spring Brook. Dec.22. Ed. Heller called at 8.a.m. and we started, with the cart for Box Spr. Mt. Went up the old road toward the house. On the way we saw what Heller said was a yg. Golden Eagle. I hardly think so, for his identity was based up on the supposition that Buzzards are not found here in winter. We reached summit at 9:30 and hunted over the small valley. Saw a pair of Jays and N. got me. After dinner N. Shot 2 Golden Crown Sparo we new to both of us, and while looking for more I shot a Wrent it also new to me. This made us feel good and N. got another Golden Crown. They were all beauties. At first N. tried to make me believe that the Wrentit was a yg. Towhee but
