List of Birds observed above Jackson. 1. Columba fasciata. 2nd Camp, 12 below Aetna. 2. Zenaidora macroura. Cam at Reide, Potato Can & Yucumpe. 3. Melanerpes formicivorus bairdii. Cam from Jackson's up /seen at Quarry, 4. Colaptes cafer Jackson Camp nest and young in trees along road near mouth of can. 65 ft up. 5. Contopus richardsonii. Shot one near falls. Coloration same as skin. Length 6.12, Ext. 9.75, w.g. 3.25, Al. 2.82 Hl. .50 tuc. .50, mid.tovelow. 50 bill 3/ broad. 6. Cyanocitta s. frontalis from Aikra up. Tot. can about falls. 7. Icterus bullockii: from Merime to above falls. Saw hide all the way up which could be no other. White ug, patch conspicious. Tanagr? 8. Zonotrichia intermedia. Heard at Camp. cam. 9. Spizella socialis arizona. Shot at camp. heard many. 10. Junco hyemalis thurberi. Saw half a dozen at Camp and above. 11. Melospiza fasciata Heermannii. Reide. Nute, Merime, Jackson's, lower Yucumpea. 12. Pipilo fuscus crissabii. Every where as high as 2 mile above Aetl Forceis, 13 P. Chlororus. Met with this bird from the camp up as far as we went. Tot. Cam. in low trees. Song similar to Carpodacus. Shot l. length. 6.75, wg. 3. Al. 3. 40 (less) tuc. .96 Mid tovelow.87 bill emic. Same bird that we found at Navy Neaths. 14. Halia melanophaba Heard at Lopez Reide, Skimins Camp, falls and Yucumpeo. (2) Tanagrs? 15. Parus montana. 1.Camp. May have been in Cam, 16 Siabia mexicana Cam. all way up canyon & cam just below mouth of canyon. Besides the above there were observed the follow- ing. Nummus, Goldfinches (low down) crest of Car. Bush-tit (at mouth of canyon) and yellow bird from Skimins's dawn, probably yellow Warbler. Room implies, the Road runner was not seen any where,
