From Lynx 3/5 mi W then N to
humer,
Oletrangy = 22 ft greenish shale.
Oletrangy - West Min on North at
at about 845. Gastropods in very hard
white limestone.
Buzz and Rust Rock road from
Brink creek side,
Lowest West Min seen actually
was 110 ft above humer, 760+110=
870 ft.
Highest Catbschard seen actually
at sharp bend in road = about 810
ft.
One end not between the Brink Rock
& West Min probably is near
820 I think.
From Wrightsville top of hill at 989cm.
Here West Min = 125 ft thick up
to this corner. One mile east of this
989 cm, at hill E of 954 the West
Min is exposed up to 960,
3/4 mi SE of 954 the Hills hor ss is
exposed at 960.
SE of 925, Hills hor ss is seen at 970.
3/4 mi S E of 954 the furze hill
ridge forming top of West Min
is seen at 970 about.
The next full E end aims Black
Slate at 980 NW of Nashim School,
101
West Min in, east bed of turn, SE by
minumment at corner 981, top of
highest exposure of West Min = 987
exact, and no stratum above this
line, or abundant fossils, but Chas. Space.
Rock is highly mineralized in some
layers directly S and SW of min-
ument in open fields, at about 960
to 970, with Schmidtelle, Brachyura,
Ostia reticularis, Septaria, Dolomiale,
Dolomite, Calymere, Spirifer
with radiate striations and fairly stiff
folds, paddle shaped spines of?
Ormond Leda.
I don't
know to what
genus they belong.
Also the spirifer with moderate fold
g small size figured from West
Min bed. Correlates with our all species,
Oligodonta to Emmata.
Base of West Min at least as low
as 920. This gives a minimum
thickness of 987 - 920 = 67 ft. One
hp locality is 1/2 mile east of latter
locality, making allowance for
eastward dip the maximum
thickness of West Min at West
Min in is 67 + 8 = 75 ft.
Could not be over 82 ft.
