Eat m. 1 1/2 mi SE, then down Rocky Rim 1/3 mi to quarry. Whitish cl. = 9 inel. cl. Not much 5 ft whitish clay shale = Oxford extended 9 ft. Dayon limed me, some of it quite typical, other parts often. Brassfield. Total thickness could be measured here. Bantas Fork Overlying arch 10 ft. Lower 1 ft = bedded lime Crimsonal (J.Olympus) Redbank? Whitish cl. Christy cl. = 1ft. Then folded after limit me 2 ft 5 ft n clay ark, 1 ft. Plm whitish limed me 1 1/2 ft. Clay shales indicated clay arch= Oxford, 4 ft exposed. Probably about 5 ft thick. Base 965 NSGS, Base of Brassfield calculated at 942 NSGS. From Brennersville Inn s and SE to creek 976. Oxford clay level. Top of Dayton cl., at 968 quarried Dayton cl. 10 feet thick measured. Brassfield top at 958 NSGS. Brassfield time calculated at 945 NSGS, 1/4 mi E y Brennersville Martin House quarry. Dayton cl. quarried. Base of Brassfield - about 950 NSGS. Brassfield 16 ft actually measured. Prices Creek.
