One very large boulder polished - grooved by me = 4.7 ft N + S long by 3 in thick, and must have been about 45 in. wide also. In the end only & surrounding rock the wave marks also are deepest in S side as at bridge. From 3 to 4 in of coarse li underlay this large pebble. Along middle in N + S direction, it is level with the surrounding rock, but at SE edge it rises 2 in over above the 2 area, being in trough of wave. Warp here have approximately N + S trends. 17.3 in = 5 steps 34.6 in = 12steps Distances: Round bridge, 280 steps 807 ft 800 35 steps, pebble jolney 101 ft 100 2 extreme 35 steps. 101 ft 100 hence 130 steps. 375/ft 375 large pebble. 37
