Sheet 2. 25. Half way between the back wire fence north of the Bladen Mine and the rail fence further north, — also Half way between the Bladen Mine and Buckeniere Pond. Out crop of a fine grain calca- reous sandstone — almost a lime- stone? and more sandy often coarsely sandy layers in it. Rep- presenting the base of the Paleozoic series — the Cambrian. Strike Magnetic N 55 E. Dip. 77 E. No weight is to be laid on this chang- of dip to the E. It is only Local. 20 steps in the E. lies the nearest An- craean out crop. Half way along the west field on the north is more sandstone, especially candy on the east. The dip increases towards the E along the lower part of the hill but be- comes vertical at the top. Old roads just indicate a fold. An Ancraean line 20 yards E, Strike Magnetic N 55 E. Dip almost vertical in the eastern layers. 53
