Sheet -2. 24. At the chestnut tree by the road- cide, outside of the fence, S.W. of the Glenda Mine. Here is shown the limestone, which runs into a sandstone on the west; this sandstone to rep- presenting the Cambrian. No fo- cils were found. The Archæan lies 30 paces towards the N.E. A valley conceals the contact. Strike Magnetic N 36 E dips 65 W. This strike continues northwards, as far as the shed covering a spring near the road, S.W. of the Mine it- selt n almost with the Glenda) Mine. This is indicated by the valley west of the Archæan outcrops. From the Mine to the barbed wire fence on the north, enclosing the field, the strike changes to roseately Strike N 50 E. Magnetic. As in- dicated by the line of Archæan outcrops.
