Fossils in Bridgeport in southern part, near J. Barbour's residence, fossils similar to Bascot's ledge, are there found in Barbour's ledge. Asaphus canalis many pyg. Bathyuri' and in an overlying bed, Maclurea matutina both convoluted shells and Trilobites. "Rhynchonella brio" extend from West Cornwall to 1 or 2 mi. S. of Orwell, a distance of 15 to 18 mi. in Orwell in higher limestone immediately Wd. & underlying the "sparry limestone" is Petraia profunda? Steropora fibrosa Stenopora Petropolitana Birdseye may be.
