Lexington. Along Belt line. 12 ft Winchester exposure along return section of railroad, Partial exposure of same beds in not giving section. Apparently contact of Win- chester and Lexington is quar- ter immediately this side. Collected from supposed Win- chester face at this quarry. Mount Vernon, York up. Fire clay directly above bed. Dr. A. G. Lovell. Sand-cline just below Mon- turan sandstone. Pine Hill. L & N. R.R. 1/2 mi West of Girven's station to bridge up creek, and up road around pike southward, 47 ft up to top of Duffin arch, {5 ft dense, quarters beds comman. 5yds, 5 ft dense massive limestone up face. 60 1/2 ft creek under bridge top to 5 1/2 ft deep creek down to Girvenella canyon at level assumed at time of Bellevue. The pres'do Girvenella tip of Fals or next next side. Then massive limestone in the left-hand under rather pure caverns. {Then thin beds limestone are, with bitulular, and a lignite? Will study it 1111 drill it? in Fairmount. Strong lime magnesillings; = 1/2 mile E of Girven's Station 1 mi. S of road south of Shelby City, where Zephtana was said to be found, I don't think now. Deep limestone. Plate lyme = 5 ft deep. Girvenella limestone like from above down about 5-10 ft). Collected also SE of bridge on hillside.
