311 White salt wells need to be, 420 Limestone clay, fine exposures in low distances in every direction from here. No Black slate, 312 Fine Limestone clay exposures up to 57 at least. Nimbu ranging here. 313 At 457 There is Black shale top with phosphatic nodules well exposed. 314 No exposures since 313 and 315 but here at 314 a Waraby clay rock with ferruginous nodules in place and much sandstone rock tumbled around here to creek beds, above 539 level = about 545, 315 Here the grey bed contains clay shaly rock with iron nodules. 316 Waraby clay shaly rock with iron nodules, fine exposures on North side of river. 317 Same Waraby clay shaly rock (2yds) with iron nodules. Iron nodules very abundant 150 ft further m. 318 Same rock as at 317. 319 Limestone at about 820 Borders. 320 At 552 is top of Black slate with phosphatic nodules. 321 Nothing but limestone clay since 320, 322 White clayey stuff, almost like Limestone clay but with ferruginous nodules. Looks like Limestone clay at least 323 Black slate top not clearly exposed 324 Silurian limestone, top about 1 ft above RR grade. 325 The same limestone with Stern matfordids may be followed up to here. No evidence of Den limestone. 326 Limestone exposures abundant. 327 Black slate the rim only by very shallow roadside ditch. 328 Black slate down to creek level, Shepherdsville. 329 Niagara limestone up to 482. Black slate at 493. Intermediate part not exposed. 330 Cincinnati Den, limestone, 1 ft ex- persed. Thickness unknown = Craggy Cincinnati, at 493 Niagara top = 1 ft lower down. 331 Niagara limestone up to 490, 332 Niagara limestone all way to next 333 Niagara limestone, at 498. 334 Niagara limestone, at 480 335 Niagara limestone 336 Niagara limestone up to 493. Broad form of Halysites. Massive star matrix and coral. 337 Denmanl. at opening of house Alameda Park Plastering down, spirifer diversica-tus! in limestone closely resembling Niagara limestone. Total thick- ess unknown, excellent contact with Black slate
