Orthis flabellites Farmites favosus. 21 ft. Ozford clay 8 in. basal ozford, or chert, reddish in mm. siliceous. 2 1/2 ft. Clinton. salmon brown. coarse grained and rough irregular bedded. No chert. A few hundred feet N of Asa Lutes brine the Clinton is salmon colored, 20 inches thick, and contains Orthis flabellites.
