Calcite! at top = Steph. sulcata + Orthus occidentalis, with scarcely distinct dorsal zinnos. 4 1/2 ft Concretinany rubble limestone, at base with Beatricia undulata + Neterispon- gia at top is Steptolaema rusticum. 12 ft covered, Probably like rock beneath. 41 ft. Massive Madison Limer. Quite massive until near base when it became argillaceous rock. 5 ft. Soft clay rock. 2 ft 8 in. Clayey limestone with Costel- laria perminero? One large Orthus lynx with sub-quadrate form. = The bed at base of Flyods Fork section. 2 ft 6 in. Hard limestone with fossils. 19 1/2 ft. Clay rock limestone full of fossils. One strong Orthus lynx = sub-quadrate form. Hard limestone. Top 4 in. = flat. Below = crossbedded. Beautifully exposed by weathering. Cross bedding due to wave action, forming crescentic sweeps. Waves 20 ft Waves. a very dark blue sandy layer of lime- stone contains Orthus lynx more ab- brudantly {1/2 ft. More, crossbedded sandy limestone Coarse dark blue limestone with Orthus lynx abundant down to level of creek at Jasper's store, a short distance N. of where the road towards Grinnell's Ford turns off westward.
