Venation NA prominent but distinct. Fruits with persistent reflexed red calyx. Carpels opening purple. As torus (?) enlarges, seems that carpels start to abort until only 1 or 2 are left. Fruits about 1.5 cm across. Place 5002 x 10 Passiflora Passifloraceae ✓ Liene - common by roadside (is J carnosa? Glab white, appendages purple below, white above. Frts start green, open orange. When ripe, bract fall away exposing entire fruit. About 16 seeds per fruit, sweet. Lvs light green.
