Feb 15 '95 - Wednesday [BRANAD] 0' 39' 35.8" )2310m 112° 41° 20,7 " /7580' I thought I was going to die... [1430m - Balanapharu ] We left the last camp at 7.45am, of 1100m to go. At 1400 we were clearly in the last of the ega-egams /ega-egams forest going into moss forest. At 1800-1900 m, the walk became razor back with large drops on both sides, at one point >200m. Somehow we got views of the top of BR Raya. The walk gave a long way through moss forest. We saw crocans - Stihime noted at 1800m. At this alt I have loads of Ericaceae, Nepenthes, mosses and ferns. The brogat (EG/S) is c. bait altered from years of occasional use. Despite this, the area is pristine. Top of summit is like a maze through moss forest
