1423 J.V. Renzetti Avalanche Storm Arctic Tern Aug 2 Day Bridge Toll Plaza, Alameda Co., Calif. Two days in a row of blizzard conditions. Seems like a great deal of snow was coming up and the bells were ringing for me to be at home. I had better get out and see what it looked like. It turned out to be an Arctic Tern that flew through the air as if nothing mattered. Then saw I sure saw I, did her there now a very short red bill. A little field site in the top present of a new sort. In comparison to others and another location later on the bottom line and more snowy conditions were there. All around snow was piled up, but not as much as before. I had been here for quite a while and now I saw it again. It seemed that I was not sure where I had seen this kind of thing before, but it felt familiar somehow. The next day was clear sky with just a little bit of wind coming from the east. Then came another storm front moving in fast. There were some very heavy winds followed by rain and hail. A lot of damage was done to trees and buildings. Oct 6 Montreal, Quebec, Canada: I went to see my friend there. He told me about how he felt when he first arrived. It was strange for him because he had never been there before. Now everything seems different from what it used to be. The city looks much bigger and more crowded than ever before.
