135. Australia formation in Der. Clay, rock, an argillaceous rock which may be Upper Magorville; whether any Redclim and Lelysps in here I don't know; judging from section 135, only the face of the Redclim bed could be two. 136. Apparently soft of Upper Magorville rock with top of Plate Layer at the base. If this be not the correct in terpretation then I don't know the rock; apparently no Redclima here. Our chief feature is the large quantity of argillaceous rock, spelling, and the small quan- tity of diversified limestone in the Corryville section. Our shale rock apparently rises with the stream from 136 almost as far as 233 old number. 233 Old number. Creamery. {Stratella} Der. clay scattled. Plate's quartz of? One Praefpna, 11ft internal. Shallow arg. rock with Praefpa 4 ft. Yasty comm. 25 1/2 ft. Lateral arg. rock similar. 21 ft direct incl'd. with Old. Penrose at top and also turn. Clay, rock to a great fault master the Black Shale drop in south side of this hills. Fault runs N45 E about, with the clay, rock or downy section in the Creek on North side, and the Der. bed with faults on S side; well! Our chief shale work in the Der. limestone on S side. On inside the Desertion in the limestone is represented only by clay, or top of hill, loose & scattered. The Permian represented here is the Duffin Ledge, estimated at 5 ft thick. The Black Shale dips south and line. Our small line runs across creek but not off the road junction about 100 yards and same distance S of foot home in the creek, giving's from road corner. 130. Second trip. The Pleasant View in the direct line immediately beneath the Lejeana horizon, see section 135 also, which probably represents about the same thing. About 35 feet of Redclim and over- lies the soft free-liferous Redclim and shale at this locality.
