11:30 - Approaching Cabezon:
Willow Goldfinch,
Green-backed Goldfinch 4; Shrike 1; Racer
Brown Towhee 1.
12:00 m. - at Indio saw at least
5 English Sparrows around RR track.
1 p.m. - along Salton Sea: Raven 1;
Shrike 3. Still a big area
of water in Salton Sea; down
about 35 feet I should say from
highest beach marks. Saw a few
large birds in distance.
3:35 pm. To Yuma. Saw on California
side:
Mourning Dove 6; Turkey Buzzard
