- June 9 -
Put up skins today and worked
around camp packing up things
and getting ready to leave.
- June 10 -
Wasselborg and I rowed down to
Pleasant Bay to see if we could
catch a salmon today. We went
clear on down past the bay and
a fish trap which had been recently
built. Just as we were rounding,
the point we saw the "Stock Column"
coming and we hailed and
boarded her and towed the boat
back to Mole Harbor. Miss Alexander
came back on the "Fox" about 5 o'clock.
- June 11 -
We spent the morning loading
our stuff on the boat and just
before noon Miss Alexander,
Mr. Hasselborg and I started for
the lakes. It took us an hour
and 25 minutes to get to Lake
Alexander and we went on
in the canoe and made camp
about a mile down the river.
