213. Yosemite is 5 miles from the Lincoln Co. line 1 mile SW of Middelburg and 7 miles NE of Albut. A short distance N E d Yo- somite, the east side of Krub- Lick creek presents a fine exposure of Black Shale resting directly on the Madison at 970. There is no Coniferous. Between 7+8. Going from Yosemite's mile post, just before reaching Green River Church, and 2 mile S. of Green River, the Black Shale rests on the Madison directly at 1030. 214. Between 7+8. at the head of Krub Lick, Middelburg, on the E side of Krub Lick creek. The Black Shale base is at 996. The Madison is found 16 in-- clos below. The inter- mediate rock is too de- cayed when seen for ready determination. 215.- In Lincoln County, just East of the line, on the road from Middelburg to Mt. Salem. The Black Shale rests on the dark brown Crecated rock, the Coniferous, at 1046. The Con- iferous is 3 feet thick. It rests directly on the Vradi-- can. SW of Jonas W. Austin's farms. 226. On the north side of Pine Side Creek, west of the road, The Black Shale rests on the Coniferous at 1025. The dark brown Conifer- ous is 5-6 feet thick. East of the road, and several hundred yds north ward, this rock is under card by 4 feet of rock which may possibly correspond to the Lower Coniferous at Duffin's Corn. The undoubted Madison lies below. 227. Nearly a mile NE of Salem, on the road to McCanney, The Black Shale rests on the Coniferous at 1100.
