W.F. Pate,
Boyle County.- Alum Springs.
3 mi. West of Junction City.
[199] A few hundred yards west of
the station a road starts
northward. In the northeast
angle made by this road and
the road following the south
side of the rail road lies
a field showing exposures
of rock. A hill occupies the
center of the field, and a small
stream skirts it on the east
and north. The exposures are
along this stream and also on
the western side of the hill.
