Oldham County. Pee wee Valley vicinity 17 5 About 2 miles east of Pee wee Valley is Floydshurg. Half way between Floydshurg and Rod- man's Fork on the road to Todd's Point, on the south side of the road, is the Alexander Sim- clair farm. The exposures are in an open field and prom- ise but little as seen from the road but the following very interesting section was made out. The Clinton is 8½ inches thick. It varies from coarsely crino- idal and dark blue brown color to a finer grained light red rock. The latter phase of the rock is siliceous, and is more common. On weathering it turns to a dirty fine grained siliceous rock leaving a less calcareous ap- pearance. Similar varieties were seen at Points in Clark county, Indiana. The fossils found are: Strophomena rhena- bivalvis, Orthus flabella, Atropka marginalis, Hamuntype Cruziana, Segellia fe, Favosites Niagaraensis, Holopezites catenulatus.
