Finds at all levels but mostly below 15 ft. in wet weather anyway. 15/3/39 a few seen, silent but active today. Feeding at all levels. 1mm shot. 16/3/39 a early feeder. Very busy feeding today, mostly below 20 ft. 17/3/39 A number of calls heard but birds very inactive except in grey dawn before forest dawn hour. 20/3/39 A few seen. Actively feeding during intervals between showers. One miniat. collected SK.36.J Bunn. 4. 22/3/39 The usual ones seen. some collected.
