LIDICKER 1959 Journal Jalozotiklan I saw c & Bst-white, I got a good look at it & noticed its nasty underparts. We got to San Felipe in time to do some shopping in the mercado. Then we got a hotel, had dinner, & a carriage. July 29 Continued W & N to Nayarit. Saw a Mex Band Squirrel somewhere near Tecuala . 21 mi. S (by Rd) of San del Rio (Nayarit) we stopped & saw saw a ro. I Arnoptilia muricanda - one was singing, 3 mi. S of the jet. to San Blas we stopped again. We saw c chat & I sawe woodpecker whick had a barred back & golden yellow rafe & probably crown. I could not see its ventral side. 8 mi. N of the San Blas jet, we saw a beaded lizard run across the road (Heloderna). 10 mi. N of this jet, we stopped by a small ford & saw: Pied Br Tzrde -2 Mexican Zrde -4 (saw 1 Pied Br. close a Mex Zrde in their; the Mex. Drdes in general seemed chozy staying more in the fringes of the vegetation. Dorby Flycatcher -3 Vermilion cr. Flycatcher (similar) -6+ "Buffy-happed" Seedeater -4 Boat H. Snr cde - saw.
