LIDICKER 1959 (July 26 cont.) During evening I heard a frog call from a rocky area along one of the small canyons which had no look of water in it which sounded like a reptile called of some sort. About lunch time I spotted a pair of Bob-white feeding on the opposite side of the small canyon behind camp. Dave was in the bottom of the canyon & I guided him to them as they ran off into the brush. He flushed them & shot the first one & skinned. Bob-whites incidentally were abundant around camp.
