2 - " , apparently females, but no claws pd. scara (1 was possibly just & the other had a little dried blood on vulva). It seems possible that these 2 might have just mated & have the swollen legs, but no definite sign for mating could be seen.

July 21
Catch: min rock (87 at ± f4) (2 traps lost)
Paramyces difficile - 18
Nestor's refricain - 1
Also caught a small hybrid which was hopping about on the rocks. Found large carnivore dropping saw with 1 of my missing traps were. The dropping were ~ 15/16 in. or so in diameter, were light colored, & contained magnite larva. Of 2 traps in bunch grass, caught 1 P. difficile . Pithed these 2 traps up & reset 2 set traps about 3/4 way up slope to min rock in grassy area where were mowing & hares which looked just like those of Sigirion mining. One of carnivore sets (#2 trap) had been sprung but caught nothing. Saw Painted Robinet while fixing up traps. Also found the nest of a Mex. juncos which was on the ground in the oak thicket & contained 3 eggs. After shining woodrat + 4 difficile, I washed out 4 pins of rocks taking advantage of a small ant. I sunbath in bed in the middle of the afternoon. It started raining about 11/0 & continued until mid afternoon. Autopsied 12 unskinned Paramys
