LIDILKER 1959 Journal area as it seems at the moment follows: --- site on crest ridge N Barranca del Rico? Lose barranca milk camp. "fancy house" gate TO CONGOJA July 17 Newtoms -2 (in same trap in bunch grass -1 year. Was caught within a few minutes after trap was set) about 5 ft. from small Peromyscus longii -2 (on snowy slope under small trees) Reithrodontomys -2 (1 on rocky outcrop behind camp; one grass +1 in bunch grass) Sigmodon lancastri -2 (1 on snowy slope; also saw an adult run from trap with spring in it ; other was from bunch grass) Peromyscus difflcis -17 (everywhere including bunch grass) Did not get a Sciurus polistes up the creek from camp in an oak tree. Picked up traps on slope above camp but left out those in bunch grass. Caught 2 more Sigmodon during day. Skinned most of day. Rain most of
