We then moved camp to ~ 3 mi. E of Topozada; elevation estimated at 7200 ft. This camp is on the north side of the main peak of this range of hills, almost directly N of San Pedro de Colores. There is another major peak to the N of us which is probably Cerro Altamira. We are on the W side of the saddle between these 2 peaks. There are lots of old mine shafts along the base of the peak to the south. I saw. Set up camp & then equipped catch. Ned & shot a jav. Verdin at lower camp. Birds seen around new camp include Raven, Ca fin Wren, Curve billed Thrasher & Say's Phoebe.
