LIDICKER 1957 28 stuffed at the Baldwins for mail. We continued S about 12/5 & had dinner in Hidalgo del Parral. 23 mi. by rd. N of La Resolana, Dgo., we saw a dead coyote along the road & about 5 or 6 hung on a fence nearby. 5 mi further we saw a Skylarige + 1/6 mi N of La Resolana (43 mi N La Zarca) we saw a White-winged Dove. 6 mi further we saw a pair of Seated Quail. On this stretch (41 mi W of La Zarca to La Zarca) we saw 7 Alk tailed jack rabbits, 4 chthonial Skylariges & saw hight hawks - which looked like the large species. We found another dead skel some right near the La Zarca jet. but didn't examine it since it was badly damaged. We got to Durango, Dgo., about 0045 & checked into a motel (Mexico Courts). July 11 We didn't wake up until about 1000. After breakfast & writing letters we continued S. 22 mi. N (by rd) of Nombre de Dios we saw a Yellow backed blackbird. 7 mi. further a rocer DOR which we picked up & preserved. 14 mi. N of Nombre de Dios there was a Citellus spilosoma DOR. 29 mi. N of the Tropic of Cancer (by rd). we saw another Wh-winged Dove (in Zacatecas). We stopped - Fresnillo & had the truck greased with oil changed. Then we bought a few things in the mercado & had
