LIDICKER 1959 + large shot 1. We also saw sev. bats which might have been Myotis, + sev large - straight flies which might have been Ephierus or Atragonas. It rained lightly most of night. June 29 Got up by 0530. Ran trapline + picked up on: Apache Plain, etc. Cat'd: on flat (66 trophies +4) Dysdercus adii -1 Oryctes torridus -1 along canyon wall: 2 Pteroporus sp. + adjacent traps shot 1/2 way up wall (its 1895 & 1896). in grass above rim: 1 Rethrotaurus which had been partially eaten by a whip scorpion. Also got 1 gopher in gopher nets. Skinned catch. Miller got 5 Syllidops below camp + I skinned this. Heavy rain - late afternoon, into evening. Set 35 traps in brush along levee near camp & reset 35 traps on canyon wall (novel 1). Reset 2 rest traps in flat set for bugs + set 2 more. Caught another gopher + skinned it. Heard skulefoot calling after dark + went out hunting them. Caught 3 Bugs sp. Others got a total of 4 Scopitopina. Was partly cloudy, but didn't rain during night from about 2200 on. June 30 Caught another Bugs sp. in camp. Had nothing in traps or levee or in flat. Got 2 Pteroporus (lugh? ) along canyon wall. No more gophers. Took up + set which
