We headed N on Calif. 79, & US 395. We bought dry ice in San Bernardino to help preserve our gutted specimens. Took Calif. 138 to Palmdale US. 6 to Mohave, US 466 to Bakerfield, US 99 to Modesto, Calif. 132 & 33 to US 50 to Calif. 17 in San Leandro. Arr. about 2145.
