After skinning animals we broke camp about 1330.
We headed W on US 80, took Calif 79 N to Aguanga. We picked up a Mastophis flagellum DOR about 3.3 mi. S of the Riverside Co. line.
We set about 111 traps 1/4 mi. ENE Aguanga.
This was on a low sandy ridge which crossed the road to Cochimila - a short distance from the jet. Then we set about 74 traps 1 mi. SE Aguanga (This is along highway 79 it is less than a mile from the jet). Finally we set about 78 traps around our camp which was slightly down a dirt rd. which led SE off the main rd. to Cochimila where there is a bench mark along the rd. (1 1/4 mi. N, 1/3 mi. E Aguanga - or 2 mi. by rd. from jet). Total traps = 263. We watched for bats in evening & saw one & heard several, but weren't able to collect any. When it was nearly dark Al & I saw three owls flying near Cienega Rincon which is the wash just below camp. After dinner we ran our trap line and camp.
