LIDICKER 1958 f[illegible] page is out of range See July 13 It was quite early. All 3 ? were set about 154 traps and camp which was fairly gravelly except for a couple ? sandy wastes. Moderate wind, ? lizards sign. All saw one bat in evening. Dick shot 2 Uta, 1 Crotaphytus w[illegible], 1 Holbrookia. All picked up 1 Coleonyx variegatus. Sept. 9 Catch: Paroecetes longimbris - 2 Peromyscus maniculatus - 1 4 mi. N, 3 1/2 mi. W Trackhouse - 2 Paroecetes (Chairodipus) - 3 Peromyscus crinitus - 1 4 mi. N, 4 1/2 mi. W Trackhouse: Paroecetes (Chairodipus) - 11 P. longimbris - 1 Dipodomys merriami - 7 Peromyscus crinitus - 1 Dick picked up a Crotalus cerastes + another Uta. Saw a Snake (only bird). Stirred animals, had lunch + left about 1300. Maximum temperature recorded was 47.5° C. - usually stayed around 45° C. Continued S to get with Calif. 78. Continued W to Scissors Crossing + then S toward Box Canyon. We set about 103 traps at Scissors Crossing about 141 around camp which was sl. less than a mile S of the main rd. on a dirt rd. (3 1/4 mi. S, 2 1/4 mi. E Scissors
