(Jul 25 cont.) Toward Tail, 3.9 mi S of Guanmuchil we saw 2 more tree ducks & then 18.4 mi N Guanmuchil we saw about 25 black vultures. The town of El Burrian is 22.1 mi N of Guanmuchil. 2.7 mi N El Burrian we noted a meadowlark & 4.2 mi further - about 35 black vultures. 20.4 mi S of the crossing of the Rio del Fuerte we saw a Franklin's Gull, an avocet & a number of resident gulls. 11.2 mi N of the Rio del Fuerte we saw our first White Raven from the West coast, (this was 12.4 mi S of El Carrizo). 44.2 mi S Navojoa we recorded a Sparrow Hawk.
