Swallow Scaled Quail Bst White Horned Lark Vardin Sident, Hummer Roadrunner. Although we didn't catch any lipo at the locality, I feel sure that some species is present (Vardin or ornetus or both). We broke camp after lunch & headed for Aguas Calientes. 10 mi. & ? camp & less than 7 mi from Agoc. we saw another meadowlark. 1.7 mi further we saw a Philosoma - like ground squirrel. 1/2 mi beyond this we heard a Microhylla call, & at 9/10 our mi. (4 mi from Agoc.) we came to a moderate sized lake on which we saw: Coote -100+ Bst. tl. Sprockle Dex. Duck -1 Barn Swallow Ruddy Duck -6 Black Tam ? Jeff at he told us about large meadowlark milos around Cuate, Zac, whil ed MAPACHE. 1.5 mi further we heard another Microhylla. In Aguas Calientes we went to the post office & bought a few groceries. Then we headed N on the trunk E at the Loreto turnoff. Up to about km. marker 7 (from jet - 52 km to Loreto) there is nice scamby desert, then for about 1 mi. there is a stretch with much prickly pear, & then back to scamby desert with some chulla. 7 mi from Act.
