LIDICKER 1958 (July 13 cont.) with them over & hour. They assured us that there were lots of bats in some of the old houses in Celinda. We continued .3 mi N of the river & camped. This area was brushy with quite a lot of grass between the shrubs, but was the driest looking area we'd seen since the vicinity of [illegible] the first ridge W of Ariz. We set 84 traps in this brushy area including 12 traps along a stone wall. A small amt. of dipso signs was noticed. Didn't see any bats in evening. July 14 Catch: Dipodomys ornatus -3 Peromyscus -4 Peromyscus maniculatus -2 Peter saw 1 Lepus - tail not noticed, but probably californicus. Shot 1 Crevidothorax while skinning catch.
