It was 3.2 mi. from jet, with Villa (Hidelys road to jet, with Colvillo rd (num. 50). The km.8 marker is just W. of this latter jet. 3 mi. beyond this jet we met the other end of the detour to the N. 4.6 mi. W of jet: with V. /Hidelys rd. the road reaches the peak of the first ridge. There is a fair sized hole to the N + a large valley opens up to the W+N. 1.9 mi. farther there is a small poblado. There is stiff desert vegetation in this area, but grass seems to be getting thicker. At km. 21 there is more open scrub land with grass beneath. 3.6 mi beyond the poblado the road curves N; at km. 24 it jogs back again slightly & at km 25 it turns a little S - climbing gradually. Just beyond km. 26 the road reaches its highest point in that area. 5 mi beyond the poblado there is
