Good gravel road going E - apparently the road to
Loe Prioz. 12.7 mi. N of Rincon de Rono,
Agyz. is Loe Adomoz; 10.1 mi. N is Cozio;
6.5 mi. N there is a side road going E. 2/10 mi.
S Rincon de Rono ther is another gravel road
Going E toward the mts. & the town of Tepezala'.
About 1 1/4 mi. E of the jet, we saw 2 Bot-white
which had very rusty sides; also a jr. of
Vermillion Flycatcher, Boot & Drackle & Whisked
Raven. 2.7 mi. E of the jet, in Estacion Rincon
de Ronoa, Barn Swallows here. 1.9 mi. E East,
R. de R. is San Antonio Apuyuan. E of here
we noted Shrike, Mourning Doves & Spectabils
hawks. 3.9 mi. E of San Ant. Apuyan the road
begins to climb gradually & again becomes very
common; the difference is that of a quite different
habitat from that of the valley; more Spectabilis
Mounds, Shrike, Sparrow Hawk, Brown Towlee
& Barn Swallows. 5.2 mi. E of San Ant. Apuyon
the road comes to Tepezala'. We continued
E into the mountains until we came to a place
where a culvert had been worked out. We cut up
the hill to the side where we got on another
dirt road which led E to a small, mostly
deserted copper mining town (San Pedro de Cobre)
which is nestled against the side of the highest
peak in the area - at least as far as we could see.
