Skinned animals + then broke camp, continued
5. It looks as if merriami may continue W to
set 1 mi E of jet, with main rd. Then it no
longer looks like merriami habitat until 6.7 mi.

merriami habitat. Beyond this it is too grassy
with much cultivation. On this area there is a
large Joshua tree-like yucca which is very tree
like. 2.3 mi. S of Calera de Victor Rosales there
is possibly some merriami habitat in a few open
places, but is not too good. At Morelos (8 mi.
beyond Calera de V.R.) there is a good side road
goning E. 6.7 mi further is the region of Jesus de
Garcia Salivos there are rolling hills with much
gravel but it is conceivable that merriami could
