We got into San Diego about 2130, took the ferry across the bay ($45) to Coronado & went S to Silver Strand Beach Sta. Park. Then we spent about 1 1/2 hr. walking along the beach looking for grunion. The moon was full & the tide was very high but we saw no grunion. We stayed that night in a hotel in Coronado. It did not rain!
